Meet Patricia Rublein, RN MDS

With over 27 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation facilities, Patricia Rublein was recognized for her eagerness to learn new systems and gained expertise quickly. Her proficiencies moved her into a management role where she was exposed to inefficiencies in proper coding of patient charts that lead to lost revenue from Medicare reimbursement. Through study and knowledge of Medicare regulations, Patricia’s focus turned to educating staff of medical facilities in correct coding of patient charts.

Patricia has been working with long-term care and sub-acute rehabilitation facilities to ensure they are billing Medicare according to regulation and are receiving the full payment to which they are entitled. Since 2003, Patricia has qualified for licenses in 11 states and has helped numerous medical facilities learn effective coding and billing of Medicare for maximum reimbursement.

Patricia is articulate in her training techniques with a gift for breaking down complex tasks and transforming them into steps that are easy to understand and apply. Patricia’s organizational abilities and skilled training techniques are a benefit when conducting staff training in the nuances of Medicare billing.
